Spicy honey glazed carrots

Cook time: 20 to 30 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 to 8 medium carrots (2 carrots per person)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon piment d’Espelette or spicy smoked paprika
- Sea salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
TIPS and thoughts
- Using new carrots? Don’t peel them. Just wash them well.
- Count 2 carrots per person. It sounds like a lot, yet, I never have leftovers at family gatherings.
STEPS
- Cut carrots into sticks.
- Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Add carrots, honey, piment d’Espelette or paprika salt and pepper.
- Cook carrots until tender, stirring occasionally.
